Our Last Post

Hopefully the title got your attention.

This post is for those of you who get my posts in your inbox or follow us on wordpress. I’m writing this to let all of you know this will be our last post at All Dogs are Smart.

This blog has been around quite a while and I’ve enjoyed writing the articles in it immensely. Even so, I feel like while though there are still many reading my past posts, I can no longer write about anything more important than that each of you need to focus on taking care of your own dog(s) in a more focused way right now. I also don’t want to spend my time writing about training dogs when there are more pressing and serious issues to work through.

If you aren’t aware already, things have changed drastically in the world. So much so that I’m suggesting that you have extra provisions for you dogs/pets for up to a year in advance. Maybe even two years. Don’t postpone doing this.

There has been a big push by those who want to rid us of our pets to do just that. Maybe you haven’t noticed. Many of the “authorities” have had people put in place to make laws to eliminate animal agriculture and pets by many different means in different locations. I have been following this and researching it for years and am not making anything up. There have been dog breed bans in several different countries and while they say its because of health and when the issue is resolved “they” will allow those breeds again, things like this are rarely reversed. Once the “law” has been put in place and people get used to it, it stays. Then the next “issue” with pets will be brought in to eliminate and so on and so on. They do it incrementally so no one notices. This is the way it is done and has been so for years.

This is not the time to be quiet on certain issues. If you are a pet owner and are not concerned and being vocal about losing your right to have pets, you are part of the problem. If you want to keep your pets, pay attention to what is going on and get involved.

I’m sorry that this last post has to be so “negative” and perhaps sad, but it is the only way to get the info out there to you. And if you think it sounds like I’m fear mongering or have gone crazy, you’re allowed to think whatever you want about anything, but in this case you’d be wrong. I’m not here to judge you however, I’m just letting you know. You can make your own decisions about what to do. Just don’t underestimate what is going on already. You may be surprised when there is a call for a cull, which is already happening in some countries, and no one did anything to stop it.

I appreciate all of you who have followed me over the years and supported this blog – I really do – and I wish you and your animals all the best in what will likely be a rocky future.
